PE Self-Adhesive Grafting Tape — 4 cm Wide, 1 Roll

A clear stretchable polyethylene tape wrapped around a graft union to hold scion to rootstock and keep the joint from drying out until it knits. It is stretched by hand and clings to itself with no separate adhesive.

How to use

  1. Prepare the scion and rootstock and bring them into firm contact.
  2. Wrap the tape from below the union upwards, stretching it slightly.
  3. Remove the tape once the graft has taken, so the stem is not constricted.

Important notes

  • Do not leave the tape on after the union has taken, or it can girdle the growing stem.
