First rule: know your soil before you add to it. A soil analysis is what reveals an actual deficiency; feeding without one may add a nutrient that is already present while leaving the real shortfall untreated. General guidance: • Follow the product label exactly for amount, timing and method of application. • More is not better. Over-application can damage roots, and in salt-affected soils it adds salts to a soil that is already loaded. • Consistent watering and proper soil preparation come before feeding — they are not replaced by it. Under our maintenance contracts a periodic feeding programme is carried out according to the plant and the season, set after a site visit. We deliberately give no numeric application rates here. They vary by product, plant and soil, and their authority is the product label and your soil-test result.

There is no single figure that suits every garden, and any ready-made watering schedule given without knowledge of your site is guesswork. The internationally accepted method calculates a crop's water need (ET crop) using the FAO formula: ET crop = ETo × Kc where ETo is the reference evapotranspiration for the area, and Kc is a coefficient that varies with the crop and its growth stage. In other words, the amount depends on your site's climate, the plant, its growth stage, and the soil's texture and water-holding capacity. That is why every one of our site visits begins by examining the location and the irrigation network before any recommendation is made.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) defines salt-affected soils as "soils in which salts interfere with normal plant growth". The accepted measurement is the electrical conductivity of the soil saturation extract (ECe). Per FAO, a soil is classed as saline when ECe exceeds 4 dS/m at 25°C, and the classes are: • Non-saline: 0 – 2 dS/m • Slightly saline: 2 – 4 • Moderately saline: 4 – 8 • Strongly saline: 8 – 16 • Very strongly saline: above 16 Your own soil's salinity can only be established by laboratory analysis of a sample from your site — the figure varies between locations and between depths, and cannot be judged by eye.

Yes. Three subscriptions are available: monthly (a visit each month), semi-annual (six months) and annual (a full year). Maintenance covers: care of trees and palms; pruning and shaping; removal of dry and damaged fronds and branches; pesticide spraying where an infestation warrants it; periodic fertilising; irrigation-network inspection and fault repair; removal and replacement of damaged plants by agreement; and seasonal garden care. Price is set by four factors: quantity, plant type, plant size, and the nature of the project. There is therefore no fixed published wholesale price — a quotation is prepared for each case. Within our periodic maintenance visits, pesticide is sprayed where an infestation warrants it — not as a routine measure. Important general guidance: • Read the product label and follow it exactly. The label is the binding reference for dose, mixing, protective equipment, and the safety interval before harvest or re-entry. • Comply with the regulatory guidance in force in the State of Kuwait, and use products registered for the intended use. • Identify the problem before treating. Spraying without a diagnosis may not address the cause, and adds cost and risk. • Keep children and animals away from the treated area as the label directs. We deliberately name no pesticide, dose or application rate here. These vary by product, pest and crop, and the authority for them is the product label and the regulator — not an information page.

Yes — tree relocation and replanting is one of our services. An established tree is moved to its new position using correct horticultural methods, with soil preparation and irrigation set up so the tree establishes after the move.
